--select data usage
take a look at all your apps data usage and know which one is consuming high data
--> tap on each app to find the cellular data used by the app. it is split into two section. FOREGROUND&BACKGROUND
you will notice high data consumption in BACKGROUND

how to restrict background data for such apps for these steps:

-->go to settings > data usage > and select the app apk you want to stop from running in background
scroll to restrict app background data and tap on the toggle button to disable it.

by diasabling data background for all apps.this can be done by going to settings > data usage >tap on more from the top right corner of your screen which is indicated by 3 dots > select restrict background data > select ok from the pop menu
