JavaScript, by Default is enabled in Google Chrome and Firefox.

If you want to enable or disable it, then here are the steps to do it:


Enable or Disable JavaScript in Chrome

==> ​Open Chrome.
​Copy the following and paste it in the Address Bar of Chrome: chrome://settings/content/javascript
​Now, hit "Enter" key and you can see the
JavaScript screen
​Click on "Allowed (recommended)."
​That's all. The JavaScript is disabled successfully.

If you want to enable it,

​Copy the following and paste it in the Chrome's Address Bar:

chrome://settings/content/javascript

Hit "Enter" key. Now, click on "Blocked."

That's it. The JavaScript is enabled.

You can click on "Add" button beside "Block" to add the site for which you want to block JavaScript. When JavaScript is enabled, you can use this option to block JavaScript for specific websites.

You can click on "Add" button beside "Allow" to add the site for which you want to allow JavaScript. When JavaScript is disabled, you can use this option to enable JavaScript for specific websites.

Here's how you can disable JavaScript in Chrome for Android

 ==> ​Open Chrome for Android.
​Hit the Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) > Settings > Site settings.
​Tap on "JavaScript" which you can find between "Notifications" and "Pop-ups and redirects."
​Now, tap "JavaScript."

Note:
You can see "Add Site Exception" .now. If you wish, click on this option and then add the site for which you want to allow JavaScript.

If you want to enable JavaScript, then follow the above steps.

Here's how you can disable JavaScript in Firefox:

​Open Firefox.
​In the Address Bar, type "about:config" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter" key.
​Now, click on "I accept the risk!" button.

​In the "Search" at the top, type "javascript" (without double quotes).
​You can see "javascript.enabled" now. Right-click on it and then click "Toggle."

​That's all. The JavaScript is disabled successfully.

​Note: If you want to enable JavaScript in Firefox, then follow the above steps.

Here's how you can disable JavaScript in Firefox for Android:

Open the Firefox app.
​In the Address Bar, type "about:config" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."
​In the "Search" at the top, type "javascript" (without double quotes) and you can see "javascript.enabled" now.
​Tap on it, and you can see "Toggle" option. Tap on the "Toggle" option.

​Note: If you prefer to enable JavaScript, then follow the above steps and then tap on "Reset" option.
