How To Enable Two-step Verification in Whatsapp

Today I will show you how to Enable Two-step Verification in Whatsapp.

 Whatsapp is one of the most common used social media network. In Every place we share Personal information such as Pictures and Videos,where we share messages, then Privacy and Security should be our major concern. The Two-step verification makes your account more secure, so that even if someone has access to your phone, or phone number he can't open your whatsapp to see messages, photos you shared.



What is Two-step Verification

As you Know WhatsApp has phone number verification (when you want to open your account on a device, they will send you a pin to your phone number, that is one step verification)
However, when you enable two-step verification on your account, then after providing your Number, you have to provide your password while registering with the WhatsApp. This provides an extra layer of security to your account,
to round it up,the Two-step verification serves as password to your Account.

How To Enable WhatsApp Two-Step Verification

-->Open WhatsApp.
-->Tap Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top.
--> Go to Settings > Account.
-->Tap "Two-step verification."
--> Click on "Enable" button.
--> Enter the six-digit passcode for your WhatsApp account you wish; Confirm it again.
==> Enter your email address (optional,but recommend). in case you forgot the password,WhatsApp would email you with the link to reset the password.After you provided the email address, tap "Next" button.
==> confirm your email and then tap "Save" button. That is all. Tap "Done" button.

Steps to Disable Two-Step Verification
==> Tap Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top of WhatsApp.
==> Tap Settings > Account > Two-step verification.
==> Click on "Disable" option.
