How To Make a Search on Whatsapp

Today i will show you how to Make a Search on Whatsapp.
You can search a call, a contact, a chat, a status, a group participant and a message in WhatsApp and here's how you can do that on Android:

How to Search a Chat in WhatsApp

==> Open WhatsApp, and you should be in the "Chats" screen.

Tap the "Search" icon which you can find beside Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top.

Enter the name of the contact or group.

Now, you can see it under the "Chats" section.

Hit the contact or group name, and you'll be in the chat screen of it.

Note: If you wish, you can search a contact's chat using the number.

How to Search a Contact in WhatsApp

Open WhatsApp.

Tap the "Search" icon beside Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top.

Enter the contact name, and you can see it under "Other contacts" section.

Tap it, and you'll be in the chat screen of that contact.

Note: If you wish, you can search a contact using the number.

How to Search a Message in WhatsApp

Open WhatsApp.

Tap the "Search" icon beside the Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top.

Enter the message.

Now, you can see all the occurrences of the message under the "Messages" section.

select the one you prefer, and you'll see that message in the chat screen.

note: The above method search the message in all chats.

But, if you want to search the message in an individual chat (group or contact) alone, then here are the steps:

Open the conversation you want.

Hit Overflow Menu (three vertical dots). You can see "Search" which you can find above "Mute notifications." Hit it.

Now, you can see the "Search Box" at the top. Enter the message and then hit the "Search" icon on your keyboard.

If the message you've entered is in the chat, you can see it. Otherwise, you'll see a toast notification stating "Not found."

Also, note that you can use Up and Down arrows to jump to the previous and next instances of the message.

How to Search a Call in WhatsApp

If you want to search a call in WhatsApp, then here are the steps:

Navigate to the "Calls" screen.

Tap the "Search" icon at the top.

Enter the contact name, and you can see all the calls of that contact.

Hit the call you prefer in the search result, and you can see the "Call info" screen of it.

Note: If you wish, you can search a call using the number.

you can see their status.

How to Search a Participant in a WhatsApp Group

Long press the group chat. Hit Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then tap "Group info."

Under "Encryption," you can see the "Participants" section. Beside the "X participants" (X is the number of participants in the group), you can see "Search" icon. Hit it.

Enter the contact name (or phone number), and you'll see it if they're in the group. Tap on it, and you'll see a few options such as messaging them. Choose the one you prefer.
