Google playstore as you know is store for downloading games and apps.
but those downloading from playstore knows that it will automatically add shortcuts icons to the homescreen of your phone everytime you download/install new app
Later on you will find your home screen with too many apps icon's
follow these steps:

--> Open playstore.
--> tap on the three vertical lines at the top of your screen. which will take you to menu
--> select settings
--> now uncheck(tap) the option "add icon to home screen" to disable it. and save.

now any time you install an app from playstore, the app icon will not be added to your home screen.
