The auto data renewal is a feature which allows you to automatically re-subscribe for a data plan without having to resend a code to buy it again.
but sometimes you might forgot that you are on auto renewal and you load a recharge card and you receive a message immediately telling you that your data has been renewed and you dont need it.so i'm going to show you how to stop it.

How To Stop Data Auto-renewal In Mtn

to deactivate cancel or stop data plan auto renewal, go to send
STOPDATA to 131. This is the General method to stop all auto data renewal or
another way is to cancel a particular data on MTN is by sending NO+code to 131 (the come you use in buying the data)
e.g i purchase a data plan of 2omb for 50naira and the code i used in purchasing it is 114 so i will send
NO114 to 131 to stop the auto renewal for that plan.

note:

the advantage of auto data renewal

is that your data can be extended even if it expiration time have reach.
