It has been long since i wrote on java phone. Today i will be written on how to Backup Contacts on your java phone.
I know you will be thinking can I also Backup contacts on my S40 Nokia phones(or other java phones) The Answer is "yes", not only on Android phone you can backup contacts also on your java phone. Before I Proceed let me tell you why you need to backup contacts.

Everyday, we save phone numbers on your phone, but your phone can get lost which means your contacts are gone,if you saved the contacts on your sim and the sim is inside the phone, it means you have lost both the phone and the sim and all the phone numbers inside.
Even if you buy a new sim, it will be difficult to get back all your lost contact.

I know you will ask what if i welcome Back my sim. Even if you do a welcome back of your lost sim you won't still get back your contacts, the only thing is that people can still call your phone number.
Some People form a Book and copy all their contacts into it in case they lost their sim, but that is time consuming and you could still lost the book also.

Your Network providers has a backup service e.g Mtn Backup Services so that if you lost your sim and do a welcome Back or retrieve your sim you can restore back your contacts back to the sim.
But the only problem is that these network providers charges you (even upto N100 monthly) not everybody have that money to do a backup of their contacts from time to time.

Luckily. your phone has an option to Backup and restore Contacts. This you don't pay. i know most of you will go for this since it's Free. some java phone have the in-built option to backup contacts others don't have but you can also use an app to do it.
